Is steel string guitar has a smaller neck compare to nylon string guitar?

Hi, I am having a Fender Steel string guitar model DG 7, and I see that the neck of this guitar is much smaller than my nylon string guitar. I just want to know that is it true about all steel string guitars' necks are small? or just Fender guitar? and i also want to know how much the DG 7 worth? Thanks.

As a rule steel string guitars have thinner necks than classical guitars, since most classical guitarists use complicated finger-picking methods to play and the additional space between strings is ideal for that purpose. That's why it's more difficult for a steel string guitarist to switch to classical, since the neck width can be frustrating. The necks of steel string guitars vary in width and Fenders tend to fall in the middle of that range. Ibanez guitars, for instance, are known for having very thin necks. And Epiphones (and Gibsons) are known for having really fat necks. Fenders are definitely on the thin-to-medium width side, which makes them really comfortable for most people to play.
