Line 6 Amp Head

Can I use a combo amp as an amp head?
I have a line 6 spider iii 150 and it's not doing the job. i'm tight on money, so can i just by like a 4 x 12 cab and stack the combo amp on top ?
yes, this should work fine. Check the outputs on the back of the amp and make sure it has line out connectors. If so you should be able to plug this straight into the back of a cab.
Think to look for is if the cab needs to be powered by the line in input. If so, then the combo amp may not offer a powered line out.
