Gibson 1937 L-00 Acoustic Guitar Vintage Sunburst

Gibson 1937 L-00 Acoustic Guitar Vintage Sunburst

$5189

The Gibson 1937 L-00 Acoustic Guitar is a meticulous remake with a solid Adirondack spruce top and premium mahogany back and sides. In the late 1920s, the small-bodied Gibson L-00 guitar won enduring popularity for its sassy style and bluesy sound. Gibson equips the 1937 L-00 remake with nickel Grover tuners for vintage authenticity, a bone nut and saddle, and rosewood bridge and fingerboard. The bracing offers an exact replica of Gibson's 1930s bracing dimensions, down to the saw-blade marks. The modern L-00 guitar's neck is also an exact replica of Gibson's 1937 large "V" neck.

Gibson Sheryl Crow Acoustic Guitar

Gibson Sheryl Crow Acoustic Guitar

$2399

The Gibson Sheryl Crow Signature Artist Series Acoustic-Electric Guitar has a body similar to Gibson's J-45 slope-shoulder dreadnought, but with wider, square-shoulder accents on the upper bout. The radius top projects a full, balanced expression, with blended dark lows and brilliant highs. In 1999, Sheryl Crow brought her beloved 1962 Gibson Country Western to Gibson Acoustic and asked for an identical replica with modern appointments, worried that her favorite acoustic would soon succumb to the rigors of the road. Gibson responded in kind with the introduction of the new Sheryl Crow Signature Artist Series guitar—essentially a painstaking recreation of Crow's Country Western, but also a variation of Gibson's renowned Hummingbird. Nickel Gotoh White Oval Button Tuner Gibson's Sheryl Crow Signature Artist Series features Gotoh's white oval button tuners. With a gear ratio of 15:1, these Gotoh tuners deliver precision tuning in a durable housing that provides maximum protection for the gear and string post. All moving parts are cut for exact meshing, eliminating the possibility of slippage, with a special lubricant inside the gear box for smooth and accurate tuning stability. Gibson Crown Peghead Logo Gibson put the first crown peghead logo on an ES-300 back in 1940, and it has graced the headstocks of many legendary Gibson guitars ever since, including today's Sheryl Crow Signature Artist Series. Over the years, it has also been called a "thistle" because of the group of flowering plants with the sharp prickles, though Gibson has preferred to call it a "crown."Gibson Pickguard The yellow tortoise pickguard on the Sheryl Crow Signature Artist Series is patterned after the shape of the pickguard on Gibson's Hummingbird. As with all Gibson's pickguards, the coloring, inlay, binding, and engraving are done by hand. Rosette A rosette is the beautiful, hand-crafted circle around the soundhole, and can be one of the most ornamental elements of any acoustic guitar. It is also one of the most subtle and complicated woodworking decorations on any acoustic guitar. The Gibson Sheryl Crow Signature Artist Series features a double-ring rosette, with the main ring consisting of seven-ply binding, and the second ring three-ply binding, adding a stylish, understated elegance to the Sheryl Crow Signature guitar.Rosewood Fingerboard with Rolled Edges and Split Parallelogram Inlays The fingerboard of Gibson's Sheryl Crow Signature Artist Series is constructed from the highest-grade rosewood on earth, which is personally inspected and qualified by Gibson's team of skilled experts before it enters the Gibson factories. The resilience of this durable wood makes the fingerboard extremely balanced and stable, and gives each chord and note unparalleled clarity and bite. The Sheryl Crow's split parallelogram inlays are made of genuine mother of pearl, and are inserted into the fingerboard using a process

Gibson 75th Anniversary F-12 Mandolin

Gibson 75th Anniversary F-12 Mandolin

$6999

The Gibson 75th Anniversary F-12 Mandolin holds true to its ancestors' heritage that dates back to the mid 1930s. Gibson attempted to reach a broader market of mandolin aficionados by introducing a series of instruments constructed with the tonal integrity of the vaunted Lloyd Loar F-5, but with slightly dressed-down cosmetics. Presented alongside the F-7 and F-10, the 1934 F-12 mandolin was the most fancy and would become one of the rarest mandolins in Gibson history. The carved solid spruce top and figured maple back and rims lent the F-12 a blend of cut and sweetness that could compete with any mandolin of the day, while its long-neck design offered supreme playability. Gibson now introduces the F-12 mandolin to honor the legacy of this original 1934 Gibson mandolin.Superior Construction One of the first things you'll appreciate is the F-12's use of top-quality tonewoods. Its arched top is carved from select solid spruce, and its solid maple back and rims display beautiful figuring. Yet while it's definitely easy on your eyes, the F-12 mandolin is also quite appealing to your ears. Gibson's lauded tone-bar bracing contributes to superior punch, sweetness and sustain to your single-note runs, and outstanding clarity and definition whenever you play chords. An adjustable ebony bridge at one end and a genuine bone nut at the other helps everything you play ring like a bell, while gold-plated Grover tuners keep your tuning true.Subtle Elegance While the F-12's aesthetics are traditionally more restrained than those of some of Gibson's more adorned mandolins, it is by no means austere, offering you a timeless elegance that's sure to be appreciated. In honor of the original model of the mid-1930s, the 75th Anniversary F-12 Mandolin maintains stunning period-correct details, such as a beautiful red mahogany finish, a mother-of-pearl urn inlay on the peghead that has been precisely cut to original specs, and Gibson's traditional leaves-and-flowers inlay cut from mother-of-pearl on the rosewood fingerboard. Single-ply white binding on the body top and back and the fingerboard further enhance this instrument's style.Contemporary Playability You'll be thoroughly impressed by the Gibson mandolin's enhanced playability, and its ability to meet the discerning demands of the modern player. The mandolin's period-correct mahogany neck joins the body at the 15th fret, which gives you maximum accessibility of the upper-frets on the fingerboard extension. This constructional element also yields optimum bridge placement within the body, which ensures you get superior resonance and tone every time you pick it up and play. The tuning pegs have been drilled and splayed for superior performance, and the pickguard has been appropriately resized. Each 75th Anniversary F-12 Mandolin comes with a special Certificate of Authenticity and a Gibson hardshell case.

Gibson Custom ES-339 Electric Guitar Pelham Blue

Gibson Custom ES-339 Electric Guitar Pelham Blue

$2915

This exciting edition of the Gibson Custom ES-339 electric guitar comes in a stunning Pelham blue or Inverness green finish. This beauty is the perfect semi-hollow guitar for solid body players. It goes where no guitar has gone before with a bold, semi-hollow tone that is rich with expressive, even stinging, overtones. The Gibson ES-339 has some exciting enhancements including Memphis Tone electronics, the 30/60 slender neck profile, and reduced dimensions and weight. With its vintage vibe and modern performance, the Gibson Custom ES-339 is a great all-around electric guitar for any style of music.Memphis Tone electronics Memphis Tone circuitry uses 500K audio taper pots that operate with an interactive load that preserves high end as you turn down the volume. The loading effect preserves the full-bodied tone with rich midrange and singing sustain from the '57 Classic humbuckers while adding a very sweet bite. Another difference is that the volume is very smooth, rolling off in even increments along with the numbers on the knobs. Since they operate more like how we hear (logarithmically), the guitar's controls work the way the player thinks they should. So when the guitarist turns down the volume the highs are still there.30/60 Neck Developed in assistance from guitar guru Jon Schwartz, the 30/60 slender neck is a '60s style neck with an extra .030" front-to-back to preserve the semi-hollowbody tone, sustain, and feel while providing smooth playability.Reduced dimensions and weight The Gibson Custom ES-339 builds on the success of the semi-hollowbody guitars first introduced by Gibson in 1958 with the ES-335. Lighter and more compact than a traditional semi-hollow electric guitar, the ES-339 retains the distinct semi-hollowbody electric tone that powered so many hit records and landmark performances. Outer rim output jack Here's a feature Gibson Custom ES-339 players have been wanting: The output jack is mounted on the outer rim. No more cable crossing the body, spoiling the guitar's clean looks and getting in your way.The Gibson ES-339 guitar's two '57 classic humbuckers with 3-way pickup selection plus individual volume and tone controls provide the incredibly versatile sounds that make the semi-hollow electric guitar famous for its use in jazz, rock, blues, country, and nearly every other style you can think of. Quality Kluson tuners keep retuning time to a minimum, and nickel hardware enhances the great looks. The ES-339 electric guitar comes with a Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity.

This acoustic-electric guitar has the same shape as Gibson's Jumbos, but with smaller dimensions.Body Tonewoods (back, sides, and top) The top of the Gibson J-165 EC Rosewood Modern Classic is made from AA-grade Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are constructed from AAA-grade Indian rosewood, giving it a deep, robust tone with all the brilliance and projection of the larger Jumbos. Selecting the right wood, and the formula to dry it out, are two cornerstones of Gibson's guitar-building process. Beginning with its first catalog in 1903, Gibson assured its customers that every guitar would be built using woods with "the most durable, elastic, and sonorous qualities," and today's guitars from Gibson Acoustic are no different.Nickel Grover Mini Rotomatic Tuners Grover's original Rotomatic tuners are an engineering marvel, with abundant style and performance exactly suited for the J-165 EC Rosewood Acoustic Electric Guitar. All moving parts are cut for exact meshing, eliminating the possibility of slippage. A countersunk tension screw lets players regulate the tuning tension to any degree. A special lubricant inside the gear box provides smooth and accurate tuning stability.Crown Peghead Logo Gibson put the first crown peghead logo on an ES-300 back in 1940, and it has graced the headstocks of many legendary Gibson guitars ever since, including today's J-165 EC Rosewood Modern Classic. Over the years, it has also been called a "thistle" because of the group of flowering plants with the sharp prickles, though Gibson has preferred to call it a "crown."Tapered Dovetail Neck Joint The dovetail neck joint is one of the oldest—and best—ways of securely joining the neck to the body of a guitar. It is also a complex and expensive neck joint to build, but the result is a tight, locking connection that supports the neck at the proper neck-pitch angle, allowing the body and neck to become one solid piece of resonating wood, with no metal to impede vibration. This process is done entirely by hand, requiring patience and skill.Rosewood Fingerboard with Rolled Edges and Split Parallelogram Inlays The fingerboard of Gibson's J-165 EC Rosewood Modern Classic Guitar is constructed from the highest grade rosewood on earth, which is personally inspected and qualified by Gibson's team of skilled experts before it enters the Gibson factories. The resilience of this durable wood makes the fingerboard extremely balanced and stable, and gives each chord and note unparalleled clarity and bite. The J-165 E
