Gibson Les Paul Junior
Gibson Les Paul Junior

Need help finding the right amp for me !!! PLEASE?
Hey everyone,
Currently i have a Gibson Les Paul Studio, which i saved up for years and years and i love it! Also i have a fender blues junior. What i want is to get a better amp that allows me to do more than just crunchy blues aha.
I love metal and Rock so it isn't the ideal.
money wise i was looking around the 300 - 400 range as i have 200 and then if i sell the blues junior that could fetch anywhere between 100 and 200.
Would love tubes, but not really sure about amps
please help thanks.
Try
http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/
It's a great site, based in the UK, and cheap great deals,
I get all my equipment from here, Amps, Bass's (I'm a bass player), pedals, etc.
Just listen to bands/artists that you know use a certain type of amp that you like the sound of, then find out what it is, and find one in the website above.
It also has a price range, (perfect for what you're asking)!
So yeah, try it out!
Hope this helps!

Gibson Limited-Edition John Lennon Les Paul Junior Electric Guitar Faded Cherry $4999 John Lennon was always a fan of Charlie Christian, and he also enjoyed tinkering with his guitars. So when he met New York luthier and guitar repairman Ron DeMarino in the early '70s, he asked him to take his 1950s Tobacco Sunburst Les Paul Junior and add the pickup made famous by the jazz legend. Later, at Lennon's request, DeMarino sanded off the 'burst finish and added the Tuno-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece. On August 30, 1972, Lennon used his customized Les Paul in its new, raw wood state during his famous benefit concert at New York's Madison Square Garden. Today, the guitar is on permanent display at the John Lennon Museum in Japan. Histroy of The John Lennon Les Paul JuniorBy Andy Babiuk, author of the bookJohn Lennon—a name known worldwide as an icon, musician, and poet, the voice of a generation, and without a doubt, one of the most important and influential figures in rock 'n' roll history. It was John Lennon and the Beatles that forever changed the world of music and pop culture. As with all great musicians, the tools of the Beatles' trade at times became as important as their music. The instruments they chose helped to reflect their thoughts, ideas, and even lifestyles. The everlasting images of Lennon—with his Gibson J—160E guitar during the height of Beatlemania, or his Epiphone Casino on the rooftop of the Beatles' Apple headquarters, or his modified Gibson Les Paul Jr. at his famous 1972 Madison Square Garden concert—have all left a lasting impression on our minds. John Lennon is so closely associated with these instruments that the instruments themselves have become extensions of Lennon's personality.Lennon solo After the break—up of the Beatles, the prolific John Lennon immediately embarked on his successful solo career, recording and collaborating with wife Yoko Ono. It was during this time, in the early '70s, that John Lennon expressed his passion for New York City. "It's the greatest place on earth," he said. "I love the place 'cause this is where the music came from; this is what influenced my whole life."Soon after, on September 3, 1971, the Lennons left the U. K. for New York, never to return. Lennon enjoyed New York's artistic environment. "There are these fantastic 20 or 30 artists who all understand what I'm doing and have the same kind of mind as me," he said. "It's like heaven."Enter Ron DeMarino Ron DeMarino, a New York luthier known for his guitar repair and restoration work, met the Lennons in late 1971. "I was at one of the guitar shops on 48th Street and overheard a guy who was looking for an old vintage amp for a friend," DeMarino recalls. "The store didn't have that style of amp, but I did, so when the guy left the shop I told him that I had one to sell. He told me that it was for John Lennon, and I of course didn't believe him. The guy introduced himself a |

Gibson Buckethead Signature Les Paul Electric Guitar $2587 From his prolific solo work, to his prominent membership in the supergroup Praxis and rock legends Guns N' Roses, Buckethead embodies one of the most fiery, creative personas of our times, and has continually affirmed his stance in the upper echelon of contemporary shredders. Equally attention-grabbing as his incendiary chops, Buckethead's stage show and visual presence remain unique among the rock field, and his Gibson guitars—a white Les Paul in particular—have always been a big part of that. The Gibson Buckethead Signature Les Paul celebrates this unparalleled artist's achievements. With an oversized, chambered Les Paul body, a marker-less ebony fingerboard, and Buckethead's choice of Gibson's contemporary ceramic humbucking pickups—complete with modified electronics and "arcade" style kill switches—this is a Les Paul guitar like no other. It's primed to get you noticed, and designed for utmost performance for the contemporary rock, metal, and shred performer.Body Each Buckethead Signature Les Paul is crafted from a 2-piece maple top attached with ultra-strong Franklin Titebond 50 glue to a chambered mahogany body. This wood combination, one of the most acclaimed pairings in the history of the solid and semi-solid electric guitar, yields a "best of both worlds" tonal splendor. With the great clarity, definition and treble bite from the maple, and excellent depth and richness from the mahogany, elements found in the classic Les Paul Standard tone. The chambering adds a further dimension, increasing the complexity of this guitar's tone, while also increasing its acoustic volume and sustain.Reflecting Buckethead's continued departure from the norm, the Buckethead Signature Les Paul looks outwardly much like a slightly modified white Les Paul Standard, but had been made with an oversized, chambered body. The chambered mahogany back serves to minimize weight, while also adding tonal nuances to the guitar's overall sound. The Gibson Buckethead Signature Les Paul is finished in high-gloss Alpine White which is complemented with a stunning black and white 5-ply binding. These give this unique electric guitar a sleek, contemporary appearance and a smooth, fast playing feel.
