Gibson ES 333 Guitar
Gibson ES 333 Guitar

Need suggestion what amp would work well with my guitar?
I recently purchased a tomdelonge signature epi es-333. I'm into alternative punk. I'm interested in getting a sweet sound from the amp...good distortion...just something that will work well with the gibson dirty fingers humbucker. Maybe the rig that delonge himself uses(can't find reliable details from web). Any suggestions will be appreciated
Get a Marshall JCM800 2204. Its a 50 watt all tube KILLER amp. I have two guitars with the Dirty Fingers pups and its a fantastic matchup for both. If you don't want a head/cab set up Get the JCM800 4010, its the same things but in a 50 watt combo.

The Gibson Upright - Booth Tarkington $2.99 ACT I ANDREW GIBSON'S _office in his piano factory where he manufactures "The Gibson Upright." A very plain interior; pleasant to the eye, yet distinctly an office in a factory, and without luxuries; altogether utilitarian. Against the wall on our right is a roll-top desk, open, very neat, and in the centre of the writing pad a fresh rose stands in a glass of water. Near by is a long, plain table ... |

Gibson Custom ES-359 Electric Guitar Inverness Green $3582 The Gibson Custom ES-359 is a semi-hollow electric guitar that adds gold hardware, Grover tuners, and an ebony fingerboard with large mother-of-pearl block inlays to one of the most exciting guitars in decades: the Gibson ES-339. The ES-359 electric guitar is part of the next generation of guitars from the Custom Shop of Gibson's iconic ES electric guitars. The Gibson ES-359 delivers bold semi-hollow tone that is rich with expressive, even stinging overtones in a guitar that has reduced dimensions and weight. The Gibson ES-359 guitar also has some exciting enhancements including Memphis Tone control wiring, the 30/60 slender neck profile, and gold hardware.Memphis Tone electronics Memphis Tone circuitry uses 500K audio taper pots that operate with an interactive load that preserves high end as you turn down the volume. The loading effect preserves the full-bodied tone with rich midrange and singing sustain from the '57 Classic humbucker pickups while adding a very sweet bite. Another difference: the Gibson ES-359 guitar's volume is very smooth, rolling off in even increments along with the numbers on the knobs. Since they operate more like how we hear (logarithmically), the controls work the way you think they should. So when you turn down the volume, the highs are still there.30/60 Neck Developed with assistance from guitar guru Jon Schwartz, the Gibson ES-359 guitar's 30/60 slender neck is a '60s style neck with an extra .030" front-to-back to preserve the semi-hollow body tone, sustain, and feel while providing smooth playability.Reduced dimensions and weight The Gibson ES-359 electric guitar builds on the success of the semi-hollowbody guitars first introduced by Gibson in 1958 with the ES-335. Lighter and more compact than a traditional semi-hollow guitar, the Gibson ES-359 guitar retains the distinct semi-hollowbody electric tone that powered so many hit records and landmark performances.Outer rim output jack The Gibson ES-359 guitar's output jack is mounted on the outer rim. No more cable crossing the body spoiling your guitar's clean looks and getting in your way.Two '57 Classic Humbuckers, with 3-way pickup selection plus individual volume and tone controls, provide the incredibly versatile sounds that make the semi-hollow electric famous for its use in jazz, rock, blues, and country. Quality Kluson tuners keep retuning time to a minimum, and gold hardware enhances the great looks. The Gibson Custom ES-359 electric guitar comes with a Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity. |

Gibson Hummingbird Pro Acoustic-Electric Guitar $2099.99 A true legend of acoustic instruments, the Gibson Hummingbird Pro acoustic-electric guitar was first introduced in 1960 as Gibson's earliest square-shoulder dreadnought guitar. Superb for all styles of playing, with a capacity for rich, first-position folk chords and intricate solo playing, the Gibson Hummingbird quickly became an iconic acoustic line, and a favorite among legends like Gram Parsons and Keith Richards. The Hummingbird has been one of Gibson Acoustic's most enduring guitar line.Body tonewoods (back, sides and top) The body design of the Gibson Hummingbird Pro acoustic electric guitar is known as a square shoulder dreadnought. The top is made from Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are constructed from mahogany, giving the Hummingbird True Vintage a perfectly balanced midrange tone, with unbiased rich lows and clear treble registers. Selecting the right wood, and the formula to dry it out, are two of the most central procedures to Gibson's guitar-building process.Rosewood fingerboard with traditional binding and split parallelogram inlays The resilience of rosewood makes the fingerboard extremely balanced and stable, and gives each chord and note unparalleled clarity and bite. The Gibson Hummingbird Pro guitar's split parallelogram inlays are made of genuine mother of pearl, and are inserted into the fingerboard using a process that eliminates gaps and doesn't require the use of fillers. The fingerboard also sports traditional binding over the fret ends, which was a staple feature of many classic Gibson acoustic guitars for many years.Bracing Every acoustic electric guitar made by Gibson features hand-scalloped, radiused top bracing inside the body, a feature normally found only in limited run, handmade guitars. By scalloping each brace by hand, the natural sound of the acoustic guitar is focused more toward the center of the body, enhancing the guitar's sound projection. Gibson Acoustic's Hummingbird Pro guitar sports a single "X" bracing pattern similar to the design inside vintage Gibson J-30s. This traditional pattern delivers a balanced midrange tone, with unbiased lows and rich, clear highs, producing a warm tone that has been a favorite among artists and players alike since the original Gibson Hummingbird guitars introduced in 1960.L.R. Baggs Element ES acoustic pickup system Gibson Acoustic's Hummingbird Pro comes equipped with the Element ES Active acoustic pickup system from L.R. Baggs, which features a low-profile undersaddle element—or transducer—that's proven more stable and durable than many standard ribbon-type pickups. Combined with an onboard preamp with an unobtrusive and volume control mounted just inside the soundhole, the Element ES delivers performance not previously attainable from an undersaddle pickup. Its sleek and effective design removes unnecessary internal components to enhance the coupling between the pickup and the guitar, and improve |

Gibson Custom ES-330L Electric Guitar Antique Red $2499 The Gibson Custom ES-330L is a hollowbody electric guitar with stunning acoustic character that provides performers and songwriters with a very inspiring musical tool. The artisans at the Gibson Custom Shop have created an ES-330 guitar that is not a reissue, yet it has all the highly-desirable attributes of the original 1959 ES-330, such as period-correct 17° angled headstock, and black plastic pickup covers. Added to those are superior enhancements including premium tulip button tuners and a vintage period-correct 1-11/16" nut made from Corian that provides superior strength, durability, and musical sustain.Introduced in 1959, the Gibson ES-330 was a revolution in the field of hollowbody electric guitars with its unique laminate top and back, top bracing, neck block, and tenon. The ES-330L has the same great pairing of features—dog-ear P90 pickups and hollowbody construction—as the Epiphone Casino guitars used by The Beatles to provide punch on recordings such as "Taxman" and "Paperback Writer," and most of the electric guitar tracks on Sgt. Pepper. Full hollowbody The Gibson ES-330L incorporates the finest features including single-ply binding on the neck, small pearloid block inlays, long tenon neck joint, and nickel hardware. The ES-330L body is truly hollow and has no center block, making it a lightweight, comfortable, and uniquely resonant guitar. Without a maple center block the ES-330L is free to vibrate acoustically and the weight reduction is substantial. The Gibson ES-330L guitar features the preferred one-piece mahogany neck for supreme resonance that has inspired both players and songwriters.P-90 tone ES hollowbody signature tone is maintained, regardless of volume control setting, through the special control wiring scheme known today as the Memphis Tone Circuit. It allows a wide array of tonal variations from what many consider to be the best pickup ever designed—the P-90. The ES-330L guitar features P-90 pickups in both the bridge and neck positions with independent volume and tone controls for each pickup. A 3-way pickup selector switch allows you to choose either pickup independently or both pickups combined. Musical feedback More acoustic in nature than most electric guitars, the ES-330L provides a balanced voice with more power than other hollowbody guitars. The sum and difference of the top and back (not to mention rims) create a vibratory explosion of acoustical energy with an awesome midrange that exhibits a sweet spot at every fret. This results in its ability to produce musical feedback. The ES-330L starts feeding back at a lower volume threshold and delivers a wider dynamic range of musical feedback. Controlled feedback is musical and adds to the player's creative arsenal. With the ES-330L guitar, players need only pivot their stance a bit to get in the zone. Infinite sustain is yours at just the turn of your torso with overtones, undertones, howls, and shrieks at your b |

Gibson Custom ES-359 AAA Flame Maple Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar Vintage Sunburst $2999 The Gibson Custom ES-359 is a semi-hollow electric guitar that adds gold hardware Grover tuners and an ebony fingerboard with large mother-of-pearl block inlays to one of the most exciting guitars in decades: the Gibson ES-339. The ES-359 is part of the next generation of guitars from the Custom Shop of Gibson's iconic ES electric guitars. The Gibson ES-359 delivers bold semi-hollow tone that is rich with expressive even stinging overtones in a smaller solidbody-sized guitar. The Gibson ES-359 has some exciting enhancements including Memphis Tone electronics the 30/60 slender neck profile, ebony fingerboard, and an AAA figured flame maple top, as well as reduced dimensions and weight.Memphis Tone electronics Memphis Tone circuitry uses 500K audio taper pots that operate with an interactive load that preserves high end as you turn down the volume. The loading effect preserves the full-bodied tone with rich midrange and singing sustain from the '57 Classic humbucker pickups while adding a very sweet bite. Another difference: the ES-359 guitar's volume is very smooth, rolling off in even increments along with the numbers on the knobs. Since they operate more like how we hear (logarithmically) the controls work the way you think they should. So when you turn down the volume, the highs are still there.30/60 Neck Developed with assistance from guitar guru Jon Schwartz, the ES-359 guitar's 30/60 slender neck is a '60s style neck with an extra .030" front-to-back to preserve the semi-hollowbody tone, sustain, and feel while providing smooth playability.Reduced dimensions and weight The Gibson ES-359 builds on the success of the semi-hollowbody guitars first introduced by Gibson in 1958 with the ES-335. Lighter and more compact than a traditional semi-hollow guitar, the ES-359 retains the distinct semi-hollowbody electric tone that powered so many hit records and landmark performances.Outer rim output jack The ES-359 guitar's output jack is mounted on the outer rim. No more cable crossing the body spoiling your guitar's clean looks and getting in your way.Two '57 Classic Humbuckers, with 3-way pickup selection plus individual volume and tone controls, provide the incredibly versatile sounds that make the semi-hollow electric famous for its use in jazz, rock, blues, country, and nearly every other style you can think of. Quality Kluson tuners keep retuning time to a minimum, and nickel hardware enhances the great looks. The Gibson Custom ES-359 Electric Guitar comes with a Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case and a certificate of authenticity. |
