Dr Extra Life Guitar Strings

Red electric guitar strings?

I bought $10 electric guitar strings at Guitar Center, they're called DR Extra Life Red Devils. I hate the fact that while I was putting them on my guitar, they started fading to a silver color, and after a couple hours of playing, the part where I was picking turned plain silver.

Pretty much.. After a bit they end up losing the color.
